Best Wireless Headphones...

The ole lady's after me again. She wants a pair of wireless headphones so she can listen to "whatever" while tooling around the house. I've hard wired Senn's and Plantronics but what's the word on wireless, full cup headphones?

The 2 factors to take into consideration is durability of the headphone and the type of technology being used. FM, Bluetooth and 900MHz have limitations. The other important factor to consider is how many channels the headphones and transmitter allow. What do yo think about the Sennheiser RS 180, RS 170, RS 160?

Hello Worf" maybe you found a pair of cans for your ole Lady already" but if you haven't check out the sennheiser RS-110 its a 926 MHz and its an excellent set of inexpensive cans for that purpose!! and it has way better sound quality than blue-tooth"

Well, I bought the HD 650 wired, but I'm still yearning for wireless- maybe Senn. RS-180.

Worf101- You also might want to consider the RS-180, RS-170, and RS-160 line. They may be a little more pricey, but the knews is that the Kleer digital transmission in these cans really reduce the transmission hiss and noise- out to 320, 260, & 60 feet for the RS-180, RS-170, & RS-160, respectively.

Also they use 2.4-2.8 GHz RF which help increase the transsmision range and reduce the transmission noise. The RS-120 & RS-110 use 926-928 MHz RF analog transmisson, which is more susceptable to noise and interference.

The RS-180 is "Open-Aire" so they may leak sound to the unintended. But, the RS-170, and RS-160 are Sealed (closed).

From what I've read so far, the RS-180 seem to be among the "Best Wireless Headphones...".
