Talking It's Basil Rathbone for me.

I'm sorry... but I can't see anyone elses face when I conjure up the first and greatest detective (condolences Batman) of all time. It's him and only him with the ever steady Nigel Bruce at his side. I loved those films and ate em up as Saturday afternoon fare on the ole Black and White T.V. I know I left some names out, like "Popeye" Doyle from "The French Connection" and Jake Gettis from "Chinatown", Bulldog Drummond, The Saint, Spy Smasher, The Falcon. They could've all been named but hey, we does our best.

I was going to mention Popeye Doyle from The French Connection as well. But, I was disappointed that you left Johnny Wadd off the list! He had some rather "unique" investigatory assets at his disposal.

    Dammit Worster!!!

    You're making these too hard!

I had to pick McQueen because:

    1) He's a stud wheelman
    2) He does his own stunts
    3) He's a stud wheelman
    4) McQueen is the essence of cool
    5) He's a stud wheelman

Who cares if Bullitt's a supersleuth or not? The man could drive.
