Why do you have to be serious if you don't like sitcoms? It's important to understand that they are not mutually exclusive.

To me, they just aren't very funny. They are so predictable and cheap. Too much of the humor is based on making fun of people. And I dislike seeing these attitudes seeping into American culture.

Like to have fun? Turn off the TV and create your own fun instead of watching the fake fun on TV. Live your own life, not the lives of the pretend people on TV.
