    Question about NAD C521BEE CDPs...

    I ordered one about a month ago along with picking up a new C720BEE Receiver. Well, they didn't have it when promised so they loaned me a C542 CDP. I have been playing the heck out of it, LOL.

    The C521 finally came in and I reluctantly returned their's for mine. The display on the C542 matched the display on the receiver perfectly, but the C521's display is not even close. It looks like the gain is turned up way too high and the background is glowing bright blue, and the characters are way brighter than the ones on the receiver.

    Is this normal for the C521BEE or does mine have a problem? To me the two CDPs sound almost the same, but I can't live with that glaring display, not even for $200 difference.

    Nevermind. I took the 521 back today and I have a new 542 on order.
