    portable mini-dvd mp3 player.
    I'm looking for a mini-DVD player that can play mp3s. Am I asking for too much? I haven't been able to find such a thing. Also I'm looking for something below the price of the ipod.

    A portable DVD player below the price of an iPod? I don't think there is one - at least not one w/o a screen attached. You might want to just look at an external USB DVD drive.
