Talking Be nice to fellow audiophiles ... except maybe Those Pesky WireNuts

How to Take Care of Those Pesky WireNuts
    by Richard BassNut Greene

(-1) Drink heavily for several days
    (0) Form a WirePolice mob
    (1) Storm their homes
    (2) Drag them into the streets
    (3) Repeatedly slap them upside the head
    (4) Poke at them with sticks
    (5) Taunt them mercilessly until they admit they are brainwashed losers who believe in bizarre theories of electricity and promise to quit flapping their gums about their
oh-so-precious wires, uh, I mean "cables", for the rest of their miserable lives.
    (6) Tell them R. BassNut Greene sent you

This post has been peer-reviewed by a panel of WirePolice, under triple-blind
conditions, and not a single word was changed. It will be published in the
next issue of my favorite scientific journal: "Garterbelt Illustrated".

Talking Who? ... Little ole' me? .... A WireNut instigator? ... You must be kidding?

"There is no bigger trouble maker, greater instigator, no better stirror of the brown stuff than Bassnut Greene. Rich, put that big stirring spoon down dang it!!!"

When the original 11.5AWG Monster Cables were introduced, which I believe was in the late 1970's, I bought a pair of 10 foot cables for $20, which is about $60 in 2004 US Dollars, and then people taunted me and said I was I*N*S*A*N*E to spent "$60" on wires, so as a result of that harsh treatment I compared my new "cables" with my old 16AWG zip cord "wires" and I just could not hear any difference, so I was EXTREMELY disappointed and went into apoplexy, so, ever since, my right eye has twitched every 4.3 seconds and of course I was determined to reform myself and never buy expensive wires again, so I decided to take out my frustrations on pesky WireNuts who, whenever I questioned the benefits of their expensive wires, always responded with "Even my wife could hear a HUGE difference", which I always hear as: "You must be deaf -- even my wife can hear the difference." , so, as James Brown said: "It's PAYBACK time !"
