    New power cord

    Hello again everybody,

Im, kind of in the process of upgrading my system and ive been thinking about upgrading my power amplifiers power cord, i just got new speakers about a month ago and new speaker cables and i thought why not get a new power cable, but im not sure what i should get, My budget would be $150 or less, i found a half decent one on audioadvisor for only $60. Here is the link

    Pangea Audio - AC-9 - Power Cable-Audio Advisor

I need one that will fit in a small space between my power amplifier and the wall as it will be about 2-4 inches away.

I happen to have two of the AC-9's and they are huge cables and not very flexible. Considering your space constraints the AC-9's would give you fits.

Check out the various offerings from music direct.

The Zu Audio Birth power cord is a good one in your budget range.

There are lots of posts on other audio forums regarding the hospital grade "Quail Electronics" power cord. It is a high quality cord with impressive looks for less than $20. It is also sold under the name "Iron Lung Jellyfish" and with that tag it commands a much higher price.

Okay, someone has to say this and it may as well be me . . . ahem . . . buying an aftermarket power cable will not make any difference in the sound. It will look cool, but, that's about it.
