    Component Video Coupler Question

On my recommendation my friend bought a 20 foot long blue jeans cable component video cable about 2-3 months ago.

He is now moving and needs about another 10 feet in length. The link below is the only component video coupler I could see. Would this coupler reduce quality? or should he suck it up and order a 30 foot cable.

    Thanks
    Greg

For that price I'd sai it's most certainly worth a try, wouldn't you?

For that matter, RatShack sells similar devices in their plastic bag section. They may come individual instead of in threes and not in pretty colors but the functionality would be the same.

They are commonly called "barrel connectors"
