    Unhappy Pioneer RT-707 umm Help!

    Hey Guys,

I resently purchused Pioneer RT-707, and I think I might have got in some smelly stuff if you know what I mean. Well guys here is the problem, I get no sound from my output. But i do get sound out of my Phones, but only the .... Correction none of them work!! ITS DIEING ... Well when it did work only the right need jumped, but they both move when I turn it of and on...

Ok.. after playing with it a little more I figured out that if i barelly push in the
" TAPE SOURCE " butten. Then they both will work and both needles will jump. Does any one have a fix to this? Besides tape the butten so it works. You think it just might need a good cleaning?

    Thank you and God Bless,

i just bought a 707 too, everything works except i need a pinch roller. if you are getting needle movement then the heads are working may not be working great though, you might want to go in and just check for bad solder joints to begin with and if you don't want to get into it then bring it to someone who works on vintage gear
