    Lightbulb Passive Crossover For Sub...

    Hi..
I got Power Amp From Rotel RB-956AX 6x60watt 8ohm, and i can adjust vol Level on every chanel, I can Bridge every 2 chanels to 100watt.
I whant to build a subwoofer.
I whant to use this Power amp to drive the subwoofer.
I need to build a passive Crossover for the Woofer that i will pick up.
    My room is 4mX5m.
I have 2 AR.COM's Bookshelf speakers(I like them very much) and they cut of at 60hez.
I do not need 15' monster subwoofer, i am thinking somthing like 8'-10'.
    My question:
    1. Is it a good idea?
    2. Haw do i do that
    3. I need 10' dirty cheap driver 70$-100$(It must be from madisound)
    Thank you guys..

    .
Something like this Behringer between you preamp and the the Rotel ...
This is relatively cheap at about US$90, and offers great flexibility.

What frequency do you want it to crossover at?
    What slope do you want?
What impedence driver do you want to use?
    Why only Madisound?

I want to crossover it at 60hz becouse my bookshelf's go down to 60hz.
I do not know what is slope...
I need to buy the driver, i want to use some 10' driver 70$-100$ .
I am from Israel and i like to buy from Madisound, and the shipping rate is not big as at partexpress.

the simplest crossover you can do is a coil in series with the woofer it would be about a 21mh coil for a 6db per octave slope at 60hz with an 8 ohm driver. to make a little better you can yes a 30mh coil and a 235mfd cap it would look like the image i attached. as for the driver i couldnt really find too much that would be good in that price range i will leave that answer up to someone else in the forum
