    Problem with tonearm alignment

I have a new Denon DP-300F turntable with a Denon L-160 cartridge. I've set everything up, and it sounds good. However, the tonearm does not land on the record when it is in automatic mode. It lands just off the edge. Do I just turn the cartridge slightly to correct the problem, or is there more to it?

The cartridge is installed at a very specific location for sound quality and shouldn't be moved, assuming it was correctly installed. Automatic turntables should have a screw to adjust the position of the tonearm start point, although it might be concealed under a cap or under the turntable. The use of that screw, assuming it exists, would probably be described in a service manual rather than the owner's manual, though...so it could be hard to get that information without a technician.
