    Question Cassette Deck Popping...???

OK this is getting a little frustrating now. When I play a tape in one side it plays fine, but when I play it in the otherside i hears clicks/pops every so often. I posted on usenet (what a joke that was) and was told to demagnatize the heads (which i did to no avail). I tried cleaning the deck numerous times and still no luck. Any ideas? I really like this tape deck.

    Thanks
    James
