Re-reading the above I see I said 5 ohms regards step up devices instead of .05 ohms as I think you probably knew. Do you have a dealer in your area? If you contact a dealer online, ask them if they will give you a trial basis. I have what I think is the first ever battery powered step up transformer . . a Marcof PPA2. I think it was about $125 in it's day and was a giant killer back then. Alas, I can't get it to work . . yet. Only just tried recently. Whadda lookin at, if anything?
