    Unhappy Xindak ? info please

Hi, can anyone shed any light as to whether any of their power amps are Class-A ?

    PA-1 , XA-6950 , XA8800MNE Mono Power Amplifier etc... I'd be interested in finding
    their operating manuals.

The official website is so useless. I'd have better luck getting blood out of stone.

Perhaps obtaining an Class-A amp in my area of Australia is not possible.

    Hi, Ozzie,

Yes, their website leaves a lot to be desired. For instance their Support & Service page is exclusively Chinese (Actually I suspect it's just the Chinese version of "URL not found".)

Given a quick read, it looks like the XA8800MNE is Class A; they don't mention it for the other two amps. The former appears to be a fully balanced design that does use some negative feedback; beyond that it's techobabel to me.

    Hi Feanor.

    Thankyou for the info.

I think their website should be put up for "speak-ingrish.com".

    Section quote "Popular Product"

Does that mean there's only 1 popular product ?

Tranditiaonal Series > obviously a made up word

Xindak ? anyone audition it ?

Hello, does anyone own, or have auditioned the performance of Xindak products ?

I'm considering the XA8800MNE Mono Power Amplifier. They are huge beasts, trying to
figure out where to put them should I go ahead haha.

    Hi!

You may have got the owner's manual (English version) by now. If not go to the following link which is the UK distributor for Xindak.
    http://www.audiosuiteuk.com/Products%20Xindak.htm

Besides above, I have been using XA-8800 MNE and XA-3200MkII connected to PMC-FB1s. I use Marantz 15s2 CD player as the source. The music produced through the system is superb, truly hi-end.

I am bit worried about the mono's as these beasts get heated up a lot. In the longer run, it can develop service problems.

Hence, anyone has service manuals for Xindak XA-8800MNE and XA-3200MKii ?

There was a place in New York that was loyal to their products and demoed their gear, I must say that it was always a great product, despite their poor website. I ended up buying a set of their cables and have had success with them.

    That being said...

There are equally strong brands that are similar in many respects, but offer better customer service and have been around long enough to make you feel good about your purchase, so it's a smaller risk.

Xindak makes excellent products. I've owned Bada, APPJ, MHZS and Yaqin and all were quality pieces. I no longer hesitate to buy Chinese products on ebay.

    Unhappy Xindak XA-8800MNE

Oops! I have encountered switching problem with one of my Xindak 8800 MNE mono's.

When I switched on the mono amp, the protection circuit blinks continuously but the mono amp does not attain the steady state.

I checked the output stage and the speaker connection for any abnormalities. I have found none. Later, I disconnected all the cables including interconnects and allowed the amp to cool for some time. Then I switched on the mono ( defective) again, the same problem persist.

Can any one help me to find the reason for this. Unfortunately, Xindak will not send me the schematics or the circuit diagram, because I bought directly from a third party.

I have been using these amps around one and half years. The amps are kept in AC room.

Now I have few reservations about the quality of the Xindak products.
