Optical ouput on Denon AVR1802

Hi ,

I have a Denon 1802 receiver , I am trying to add a Wireless Headphone namely Sony MDr_dS3000 to it , this headphone does dolby decoding , can I use the digital optical output on teh denon AVR 1802 and attach it to the input of my headphones base , does the AVR just pass thorugh the digital signal without decoding on this output .
