    Integrated Amp as a Preamp?

I just bought a Rotel RB1080 from eBay. Is it at all feasible to use my Rotel RA972 integrated amp as a preamp?

Eventually I'd like to pick up a couple of ML Aerius' or maybe a step up the ML line.....also looking at Magnepans.

Yes you can use the pre-outs on the RA972 to connect the poweramp. Also, I believe the ML Aerius also has a bi-amp option that can be purchased, so you could use both the RA972 and the RB1080 to drive the speakers if you wish.

Hey thanks! I wanted to clear it up here before I go to my local audio shop to present the question. It's better to look stupid anonymously than to look stupid in person!
