    help in choosing a preamp

    hi to everybody ! I want to buy a new preamp and I have the choice between a yamaha cx-1000 or a denon pra-1500 or a denon dap--2500. Is those preamp are hifi quality product..thank you.

    Exactly what are you asking? Are you asking for an opinion concerning the quality of your choices? If so all I can say is that Denon is usually pretty good stuff. I've never owned one but I'm sure someone else on this site has and will respond.

    Are you just looking for stereo playback? I have no direct experience with any of them. The PRA-1500 looks to be a possibility, it has balanced outs and was matched with Denon monoblocks. The CX1000 gets good comments and is said to be tube like, whatever that means to one. At least 2 of those preamps have reviews here on AR.
