why didnt you check this after reading Dusty's very first post? heheheheheIm glad everything turned out to be well.
There is a small engraving on metal ends of the fuse. BE SURE TO USE CORRECT FUSE. use a magfincify lens if you have to. If you use a wrong fuse, your amp will be shot for sure.
    Let's just say, horrrrraaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!

If it's still busted you can buy my Onkyo stereo receiver that's sitting in the corner of my room. Haha.

    Good luck with the fuse!

I sure hope it was just the fuse -- if it is, I'm really glad that I kept nagging you to check it.

Man, it's just not the same as really buying someone a beer...I have a feeling that incident over in the digital forum wouldn't'a ended the way it did if we had had that conversation in person over a brewski...

as stated before, its a good idea to clean it all out...
the fuse blew for some reason... hopefully not due to another component failing...

if you already replaced the fuse, and it works, then cool ;o)

Yeah, I don't know how old the rcvr is, but there might be dust inside there, holding in heat. That could blow a fuse. If it's kinda old, you might consider going inside without touching anything and blow it all out with canned air. Unplug the unit first, of course.
Glad yer back in tunes again.

Oh, yeah; it'll be dusty inside. Has a vent on the top of the cabinet, right? My Sansui did. The vent had a cloth grille, but dust still got in.
