Recent eBay sales have been between US$200 to a little over US$400.

Perfect condition is flawed knowledge, however. It may be perfect cosmetic condition, but chances are because it's vintage, that the caps may have dried out, so at this point, you want something like that either refurbished, or be prepared to do some soldering.

The case in good condition adds $100+ to the value. Based on my recent observations at eBay, I'd say a 2325 in excellent working condition and only very minor scuffs might go for $600-$700. If truly near-mint condition, perfect working order with all lights working, a clean interior, and virtually unblemished including the case, you could be $900 - $1000.

    first a question?

Do you really want to sell? If the unit is mint and, I have to agree with dusty chalk the caps may need some attention sometime soon but, if it sounds great you have one of the finer recievers from that era, great Pre and Phono Pre with a very powerful Amp, if it sounds great use it, set aside $100+ for some new caps and learn how to do it yourself, if you want to sell (I would think twice and then some!!) throw it on the market, these bad boy's are only going to go up in value, I say keep it!!

I agree with Stuwee20. I'll say you cant do much better than your Marantz. If it's in that good of a shape, you can always get $500 for it in a heart beat. I would keep it and enjoy the hell out of it. I dont see you doing any better than that old fashioned 125+ watt receiver(that;s probably equal to 500 watts per channel on Sony receivers). Try finding a new receiver with much similar performance for under $1000.

Yeah, I agree with the others -- with a little bit of work, you could have a fine amp. Keep it if you can.

Think about what the others have said.

Depending on your wants, maybe unloading ut for 2 - 300 bills might just getyou started in a multi-channel world but, keep in mind, that to equal the performance and sheer power that thing is capable of will cost you thousands in today's market.

Of vourse, it doesn't have remote control, ya gotta tune in stations manually and it only has two channels. ...but what two channels they are!

That's because you're not hearing four channel sound. You're hearing two channel sound through four speakers.
