    Kenwood KA-6004

$10 at Salvation Army. Big sale today, couldn't resist. It has seperate pre and power, I may try and use the pre out for something. Lights up really nice, each source stage has it's own light.

Very nice score and you can't beat the price!
Older Kenwood is underappreciated IMO but then I am biased.
Now you need to match it up with a nice KT tuner.

That older Kenwood stuff is pretty good. I just picked up a pair of Advent Mini's (Audiogon) to go with a Kenwood preamp, tuner and power amp I got from thekid. They'll be sounding real good at my girlfriends place. Today, A 10" Velodyne AV sub I got yesterday will be added to her system. I won't mind listening to music at her place anymore.

I'm using the pre amp into the Golden Tube right now. Not too shabby. Phono stage is super quiet and sounds as it should. Not great and not bad. It has 50k gain setting.
