Question Nakamichi Receiver from late 80's

My old Nak SR-2a finally gave out last week but it gave me 20 years of solid performance. It was rated at 30 watts but put out clean 2 channel sound. It seems Nakamichi has moved away from the home audio scene. Anybody know what they are doing these days?

They make some overpriced "office mini-systems" and have been active in the commercial/business end of the industry. Even recently I've seen some NEC plasma screens in use.
So, I broke into the palace
With a sponge and a rusty spanner
She said : "Eh, I know you, and you cannot sing"
I said : "That's nothing - you should hear me play piano"

Nak is only active in lifestyle products now. Overpriced junk IMO.
