    Hello Carver 6200 receiver.......

    Anyone familiar with this receiver and is it worth $100 today? I know Carver as a well respected brand but not as sure about this 20yro receiver. Very little on it on the net and here on this site, so any resources or info very welcome.

    thanks for the memories....

    I knew that certain folks went bonkers over Carver, though I'm still at a bit of a loss as to the fuss about it, aside from some serious ampage with some serious headroom. Thanks for the
    pointers.

    But really, why do people love Carver equpment so much? Marantz I understand, but....
