Threshold T2 upgrade / Jon Soderberg

    Hi friends,

By reading the posts in this forum, I see that most of you refer to Jon Soderberg as **the ** specialist for upgrading or repairing the THRESHOLD amplifiers.

The web sites and email address given on this forum or on this site reviews are:

    www.vitageamprepair.com
    www.rsvonline.net
    jon.soderberg@rsvonline.net

but none ot them seem to exist...

Does one of you have the new URL of the Jon Soderberg company, or any other alternative for upgrading these wonderful Threshold amps ?

Thank you very much for your reply,

    N.

    Try http://www.vintageamprepair.net/

I think the T2 was from the post Nelson Pass era. I use a Stasis 3 purchased in 1981 in my vintage system.

    Good luck!

    Thanks !

I have read on the URL you mentionned (www.vintageamprepair) that the T series were designed without Nelson Pass (just look at the Threshold history page), but it is sure that it has been designed at the same period and with the same principles: it is built like a tank, and work wonderfully with the Threshold amp (I use a SA-3.9e in my system).

Absolutely. Another original Threshold offshoot is Coda that also made a number of amps for Innersound.
