I just saw an eBay auction end at $200 for a Velodyne F-1000 rated 9/10. Of course that's a killer deal for a servo controlled sub, but those types of deals do come around every now and then. I had a Velodyne CT-100 and it sounded great... I bet the F series subs sound a lot better too.
