Hi Christian,
If you are speaking just HT then I would opt for the Staff's. They go a little lower and you don't mention a sub in your setup. The Staff's are also an 8 ohm speaker that would be easier to drive. But also at a sensitivity of 87 db they will require a good HT receiver to drive them properly. Hope this helps.

Very nice receiver. I would go for the Totem's and you will have a top notch home theater setup. All you will need then is a good sub to give you the rumble that home theater is all about.

Another vote for Totem... I have heard various VA speakers paired with that receiver, and the results weren't pretty, to say the least.

I've never heard the Vienna's. But I have heard the Totems. Very impressive. They get my vote.

After CES this year, I think I'm gonna go for a set of Totem Tribe's

Ya, go totem, auditioned a few of them a few weeks ago, very clear and easy to pick out individual sounds...but you NEED a sub, no deep rumble on these things.

a sub? yes, i use paradigm 1000.
thanx....
