    Question Up Grading Speakers

From a old Bose system to a Klipsch, I am stuck between two Klipsch systems.

    1 Klipsch QUINTETSL
    '
    2 Klipsch Quintet II

I am going with a 12 inch sub......

    Receiver.......Yamaha RX-N600 6.1

Has any one had any experience with either set of speakers and any recommendations?

    Thanks
    Pumpman

The Quintet II was discontinued some time ago, so should be able to be had at a steep discount. Or were you referring to the Quintet !!!?

    Ballpark figures:

Quintet II can be had for about $300

Quintet III can be had for about $500

Quintet SL can be had for about $950

Just a guess, but I'd think the SL is supposed to sound better than the other 2, based on price. But who knows for sure without auditioning side by side?

I've only heard the IIs, three or four years ago, and was impressed for the price.
