    Smile subwoofer recommendation

    Hi All,

I am new here. I am in need of a sub-woofer for my music/HT room. The room is about 14 x 14 x 9. I am running a Onkyo AV Receiver RX620 (about 3 years old), and have Dynaudio 42 for front left / right. Dynaudio 120 center channel, and Dynaudio IP-17 for rear left/right surround.

    Thank you in advance.
    Joseph

Congrats on a fine Dynaudio setup. From all the places I visit that are Dynaudio specific, most people are using a Dynaudio sub or REL and are very pleased with the integration.

I have 82s for front, 120c center and 42s for rears. I am using a Mirage OM12 that they stopped making but I don't think it is as smooth as I would like it to be.

Without knowing your budget, here are a few-

Rythmik Audio • Servo subwoofer products These are supposed to be great subs at great prices.

MartinLogan - Dynamo 700 - Wireless Capable Subwoofer-Audio Advisor I really like these subs, tight bass, musical, great for music and movies. Plus they have the wireless option.

Velodyne - Optimum - 10 in. - Subwoofer-Audio Advisor These Velodyne subs are great sounding. Deep powerful well controlled bass, comes with a remote control and hash an equalization program. The remote and equalizer are great features.

If you want to go cheaper look here- Emotiva Audio | X-Ref 10 DSP Powered Subwoofer
