    SVS-HSU-Velodyne?
    Do you have experience with these brands I need a Sub for HT and Stereo. I'm looking to spend anywhere from 700-1500 $.

    I use Velodynes in my stereo & HT. Very good quality. I am also using the Axiom Epicenter 500, and it's just about blown away every other 12" sub I've ever heard. Well, not blown away actually, but a serious contender for best 12" sub under 2k, and that's about all of them!

    In that price range you could also consider the Paradigm Servo 15. It's simply amazing, especially if you need it for music also. Other than that, I'd give SVS the nod from the ones in your list.

    Are you sure that's in his budget? I think it's listed @ $2200.

    I paid $1300 (US) for mine a few years ago, so if the price has gone up that much a used one would be the way to go. It's a steal at $1300..but over $2000? I don't know. There are lots of options to consider with $2000.
