Storing Speakers

Hi, new to the forum so hello all.:7:
I have a question and would appreciate views.
I run a disco business :0: and i never know if it is a good idea to keep speakers in a workshop/shed where there is no heating. I currently keep them in my hallway/cupborads, you name it i have a speaker there. My wife would prefer they were kept in the shed/workshop/garage
Will dampness effect them. I imagine suppliers keep them in warehouses (although most likely heated) and car speakers survive ok in the car:confused5:

It is better to keep them in a place where the temperature is normal. Changing from cold to hot makes the surround/foam around the woofers old and it falls apart. I am telling you by my experience.

Surrounds will turn to dust in a hot attic.
