JBL Northridge E80s vs Klipsch KG 4.5

    Hi everyone,

newbie here but looking for some expert advice. I've owned a pair of JBL northridge E80s for about a year now. They've been awesome but recently have had some problems. First, the backs of the speaker cases ahve started to rattle and recently one of the tweeters blew out. I put them up for sale on craigslist and have got an offer but I was wondering if it would be worth it to sell them and look into a pair of new speakers or to try and fix them myself (keep in mind i have no idea how to fix a pair of speakers).

the new pair i have in mind are the klipsch kg 4.5s. basically i wanna know which pair is generally considered better the jbls or the klipsch because it would cost me about the same amount of money to fix the jbls or buy the klipschs.

    thanks a lot!

There will be a definite difference in the way the Ks sound compared to your JBLs. If you've heard the Ks and like them better, then just go that route. If you just "think" you'll like them better, well, you might or you might not, and you could end up with a bag of regret instead of a bag of happy.
    I like sulung tang.
