    Question JSE infinite slope .6

Anyone familiar with these vintage speakers. I have a chance to buy a pair. They're about 23" tall, with wood cabinets with a glossy black back panel. They sound really good, but I have never heard of them and am wondering if replacement drivers or repairs will be available. The seller says that they didn't make their own drivers and replacements should be available.

    If i'm not mistaken,
JSE was the early company of Joseph Audio! The infinite slope models refer to the crossover slope that was really steep. I have heard that it may be as much as 90DB's or more.
Joseph Audio does nothing cheap. They used very high quality drivers and crossovers back then. Expect to pay big bucks if you need a replacement driver. You may want to look at Dynaudio tweeter prices on ebay.
On the good side, you would be hard pressed to find better speaker company in that era. I sometimes attend the Stereophile Shows and Joseph Audio (IMO) is always is a top 3, even with the "Super Systems" around them.
