the K2's are worth every penny of the $13,000 if I had the money I would buy a pair. I honestly have never heard a speaker that sounded so true and so full. In comparison to any of their other lines made right now there is no competition.

What would be a good example of how the K2 sounds like?

They produce an extremely flat sound. Sort of remind me of the sound of the Altec Lansing Voice of the Theater only with a better high end response. It's not the typical JBL horn sound, they tamed the peaks at 2.5k to 3.15k. The true 3" horn gives a much cleaner midrange sound because it has a lower crossover point, and those 15's in them sound horrible when crossed over too high. the best way i can describe it might be it has a very live but flat sound.
