    Newbie needs help with wireless

    Hello all,

I am new hear and I need some help.

I just purchased a set of wireless speakers (AR AW871) and it is saying to connect the transmitter to line level outputs(using a Y RCA cable), I am going to set these up for my rear channel but all I have for rear channel is speaker level outputs.

Any idea how I can send a rear channel signal to the wireless transmitter?

The short answer -- you're screwed with your current configuration. Your choices are to either return the wireless speakers and get some wired rear speakers. Or go with a home theater receiver/processor that has line-level surround outputs. In my listenings, wireless speaker setups leave much to be desired with their sound quality, so my suggestion would be to find some way to accommodate a pair of decent wired speakers for the rear.
