the "Martin Logan ESL series purity, Newegg selling them for 800 ea until the 7/17 I'ave listen to them in house a few times and love em, I'm sure these are well respected "here"

are these the top of the ML line? are they a great buy 800 ea ?

Not the top of the line ML but are mid pack.

Looks like they list for $3300/pr so list for each is $1650. Sounds like a decent deal but be warned that MLs are not for everyone depending on expectations, musical tastes and associated gear.

I aspire to the Vantage series myself.
