Cool Receiver for Martin Logan Sequel IIs

Newbie here, just bought an old pair of Martin Logan Sequels for $500, and have a Yamaha rxv 3000, it sounds okay, a little thin and cold, was wondering if there is an inexpensive, decent amp around $500 I should consider to drive these speakers, listen mostly to popular music, some instrumental, and classic.

New, maybe something from Rotel, Nad, Parasound, or Adcom. However, I'd go used to open up the possibilities. Check audiogon.com. You should be able to find something interesting.
