    PSW505 any better?

    Hi,
I am hearing a lot of neutral reviews about the PSW10 so I was looking at the PSW505 sub which seems fairly decent but I am not sure how it compares to other subs in the same price range.

Also I am guessing that the PSW10 will probably not do well at low frequencies since 45 is the cutoff. So the question is does 32 vs 45 make a huge difference or is it the wattage that makes up for it instead?

The difference between 32 and 45 hertz is most definitely noticeable. Below 40 hertz is where you really start hearing the frequencies you normally associate with subwoofers. I do have a suggestion though, I have found it much more satisfying having speakers that hit the 30 hertz range. I have actually disconnected my sub since getting my new speakers.

    Under you budget: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=300-635

Unfortunately you can't audition these in store, but they should perform very well for the money. Unless you want to go DIY...
