PSB revamps their Image line
-
Nobody cares anymore....even me

I'd take a guess that it's just part of Paul Barton / Lenbrook Corp.'s ongoing thrust to move all production off-shore.
Of course, that assumes the old Image line was produced in North America: I think it was, but I'm not entirely sure. In any case I'd bet plenty that the new line is made in China since Paul Barton has publically stated that he thinks its a wonderful place to do business..

It just took someone to rattle the cage a little to get a response that's all:smilewinkgrin:
I am curious though, why are you indifferent? I always heard good things and recommendations on PSB. Be good to hear the other side too. Are they like Polk or Klipsch, you either love 'em or hate 'em?

I originally posted about the new Image line over a month ago:

and got no responses at all... seems people aren't very excited about PSB...

I was a PSB fanboy. I still own Stratus Silvers and a pair of Stratus 8" 2 way towers. I guess i'm just disgruntled they threw the Stratus line under the bus and yet choose to offer 6  lines of speaker to confuse everyone. PSB still states the Platinum T-8 tower as their flagship yet everyone else including Stereophile says the Synchrony One is the flagship. They just have nothing to offer that appeals to me anymore that's affordable.
My next speakers will be from a high end company that concentrates on making a few very good speakers that are assembled in the country that they were designed in....not from a company who farms out labor to the Chinese just to increase profits.
