Picked up a set of Swan D2.1se+

Not really a fan of Swan in general but this speaker has always impressed the heck out of me. Definitely better than the sum of it's parts and not fatiguing at all. To my ears it just gets things right.

Nice. The drivers look really close to my Dynaudio 42s.

yeah they do look similar to Dynaudio's but they make their own drivers under the HiVi name. I have seen a lot of people work with their drivers over the last few years but I have not been able to hear them for myself.

I would like to hear them but oddly I am still so impressed with the JBL Studio 530's. Might be fun to compare them. My Mobile Fidelity OML 1's would be good in a shoot out with the two others.

Amazing how both the tweeter and woofer, except for the spacing and alteration of tweeter mounting look almost identical. The crimping in the cone and the surround on the woofer look to be the same.

Edit- Just noticed that the tweeter in the Swan uses more screws to mount, but the woofer still looks real close.
