    NHT, Axiom, Aperion or Totem

Have a15*20*20tall family room. Looking for great sound,

Any ideas? Aperion Towers 633 or Axiom 80, Totem Rainmaker, or NHT.

I enjoy excellent sound. Had vandersteens. Will tie into a home theatre setup also.

    All of the above.

All nice choices. Have you listened to any of them yet?

And I've lived with the Axiom M80's. I really like the Totem Rainmakers, but they are not full range floorstanders like the Axioms, or the Aperions. I don't have any time with the NHT.

I prefer the sound of the Totems, but I would probably look for something a bit larger like a Model 1 twin or Forrest. If it's for music only, maybe some Hawks.

Any reasonable sub you would recommend? Center & Rears?

I would stick with them for center & rears if your going to go that way.

Subs are less fussy with what speakers they are mated with. It all depends on if you are into heavy action movies. If you are (I am) I would recommend a very powerful sub like the 12" Axiom Epicenter, or similar.
