Need help with speakers SPL and DB levels

Hello, I am looking to replace some speakers in a sub (dual 15" ) and have a few questions. If i put 2 15" speakers with a SPL of 90 db and they take 500w rms 1000 w peak. Would that mean my SPL is 180 and i would need 2000w to fully power them?
