    Need HELP shipping RF-83's! Fast.
Am trying to buy a pair of RF-83 from a seller in the Midwest, but he is unwillin gto ship. He wants local pickup only, as he says shipping them is a pain the the a$$ since he doesn't have the original boxes.

Can anyone suggest an easy, but cost-effective way to ship these? A packing service will probably charge out the yin-yang?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Good Luck
Seller is wise specifying local pick-up. They're 50" tall, 21" deep, and 14" wide and their shipping weight (in original cartons) is 115 lbs/each. You know it's gonna be more if they have to construct a container.

When Crutchfield sold 'em, they charged $99/each to ship 'em in their original cartons and even then there was enough fine print to give a lawyer a headache.

I can't even fathom a guess what it woud cost to custom package 'em much less ship 'em.

You might be better off borrowing a mini-van and driving out there yourself.
