    Question Need advice on boat speakers

    I have a four channel amp/cd/radio in my boat with two 4ohm speakers on the front L/R channels. I bought a pair of Cadence box speakers to mount up top which are 8ohm. My question is, will this imbalance create severe problems and if so, can I change the resistance in the Cadence speaks easily? BTW the Cadence are 2 way speakers with I assume a built in crossover. I'm open for any suggestions but I have no more room for any additional speakers in the boat.
