I didn't notice that there was a forum about PC speakers but on the bottom of the page. But I think M-Audio or other studio monitors are speakers but for the Philips I have are more of a PC speaker that's forsure.

Well then get the M-audios back and you won't have any objections about posting in the Speakers section, right?

Yeah and it's not a matter of money. I guarantee you can put together a decent classic kit for $100 - $200 on ebay using the likes of Boston Acoustic, Advent, Design Acoustic, Infinity, and Polk for speakers and Yamaha, Denon, Pioneer, and Marantz for amplification. You can easily put together a kit for $200 that would have cost $1000+ retail in the 1990s.

Not that I offer the point for SVI's benefit, but for any nOOb that stumbles in thinking we are being harsh. Anybody with only $200 to spend could ask around and get some very good ideas on how to greatly improve their sound reproduction.

But I still wonder why you guys were interested in Adam wearing gloves soo much. I don't think it's really a big deal you know. Maybe next time I should not put soo much details then everything will be ok.

Well I really do like these Philips speakers since they make alot of bass like a subwoofer. Most speakers I heard that are around that price range needed a sub to make the same low ends.

No. Don't post your fedishes in the Off Topic forum. Post them on a Gay porno site somewhere.

Hey Spanky, there is no such word as "Fedish". Not in English, which is what is spoken on these forums, and not in any other language as shown in the entry below from Dictionary.com.

I suggest, you learn some English, and post about your bitty speakers somewhere else such as felchers_am_I.com and stop trolling here. It was fun for 5 minutes but your stupidity is starting to get old. You are only posting here to get a rise out of people. You got yor reaction, now go away please.

    fetish
1613, fatisso, from Port. fetiço "charm, sorcery," originally feitiço "made artfully, artificial," from L. facticius "made by art," from facere "to make" (see factitious). L. facticius in Sp. has become hechizo "magic, witchcraft, sorcery." Probably introduced by Port. sailors and traders as a name for charms and talismans worshipped by the inhabitants of the Guinea coast of Africa. Popularized in anthropology by C. de Brosses' Le Culte des Dieux Fétiches (1760), which influenced the word's spelling in Eng. (Fr. fétiche, also from the Port. word). Figurative sense of "something irrationally revered" is Amer.Eng. 1837. Fetishism in the purely psycho-sexual sense first recorded 1897 in writings of Henry Havelock Ellis (1859-1939).

"In certain perversions of the sexual instinct, the person, part of the body, or particular object belonging to the person by whom the impulse is excited, is called the fetish of the patient." [E. Morselli in "Baldwin Dictionary of Philosophy," 1901]

Oh no! Hyfi brought up Felching. Next thing you know this thread is going to be back down in the muck amongst the Rusty Trombones, Hot Carls, Santorums, and Jalalabad Shakedowns.

But, I thought it was "feltching" with a "t"

Also, not everyone hear speaks English, some of us speak American and Canadian, too.

At work, my PC is using these real dinky Advent speakers that are so cheap, there is no model number. The bass sucks as do the mids and highs.

Uma Thurman reading the phonebook in a bare room wearing a burqa is a turn-on. This is the power of Uma. It is a power similar to that often used more sophisticated Hollywood women such as Meryl Streep, Susan Sarandon, Rachel McAdams, Tina Fey, and Kathrine Keener (she even looked good as a dirty hippy in Into the Wild).

Contrast to Jessica Alba, Jessica Simpson, ect.
