    looking for small karaoke speakers

it's for my wife, not me. small, efficient and inexpensive karaoke speakers to be hooked up to a denon 40w/channel stereo amplif/receiver. heard small speakers by cambridge sound works that were very good. but very old and don't know what model they are.
any feedback would be appreciated. thanks

If you have a DVD player just buy one of those microphone mixers that turn your DVD player into a karaoke player. Then you don't have to buy speakers since the sound will come out of the ones you have. I think radio shack sells one. That would be your cheapest route.

If you're still interested in efficient an affordable small loudspeakers, check out the Klipsch Synergy Series horn speakers at Best Buy. Even their least expensive model should work well for your wife's setup.
