    4 Ohm nominal impedence

I have a set of "oldish" 4 way towers which says on the back that they are 4 Ohm nominal impedence, yet all the drivers has 8 Ohm stickers on them. Does the difference in resistance have anything to do with the cross over or is this just a possible error on the outside labeling.

    Hello franvn!

Almost certainly the crossover. The way the drivers are wired, and other crossover components can affect the ohms.
