Acoustic Energy or B&W?

Hi,

Right now, my system is composed by a Linn LK100, a Linn KOLEKTO and a Linn MIMIK.
I quite like the sound so far but I am strugulling to run my speakers ( KEF 104.2) and I am looking for smaller units to fit the room better!

I am looking for two different speakers at the moment and want to know wich one could fit the best my setup : Acoustic Energy AE1 MkII or B&W Matrix 805. I can find them at the same price and read good reviews for both of them.

If anybody knows which one would be the most suittable, please help me! Of course, I am open to other proposals of speakers.....

It is really hard without playing them back2back.

I can only tell you that i am quite pleased with the transparency of the AEs for the price - great value.

Can you buy/try/return?
