B&w 802

A friend on mine has a pair of B&W 802s in his garage packed in the original boxes. They are about 15 years old. He is the original owner and they are in great shape. He upgraded to a new pair of 802s because the old pair did not match his new system (i.e. the old 802s have a walnut fiinish and his new 802s have a black finish).

Comments, opinions and thoughts about the quality and performance of this older version of the 802s for 2 channel music listening would be apppreciated.

Any thoughts on how much a well taken care of pair of approximately 15 year old B&W 802s should sell for? We have not discussed price, but my guess is he will sell them to me at a very reasonable price.
