    Anybody knows anything about these

Apparently they had the best HF unit ever produced. You will need a reliable supply of Helium though.

I remeber reading about them. I do not remember if it was the Hill's or another speaker that used gas for the tweeter but the problem was it created ozone when in operation.

You are right. It was them that created a dangerous gas when in use. Fancy a quick listen?
I also recal reading about a Futterman amp that created some radiation when in use. Fancy putting them two together just to make sure.

    Dude,
That's some for real creepy crap, and talk about keeping your tweeters cold. How about putting your tweeter's in the freezer. I think you can only play them in the tropics and in the summer-outdoors on the patio in the country when its not monsoon season.......LOL

They were a wonderful tweeter in search of a speaker. HP said the midrange honked horribly ("My Heart Goes Where the Wild Goose Goes").

Nelson Pass worked on a full range concept back in the eighties. It emitted prodigious amounts of ozone and the project was eventually scrapped. Here's a link from the Pass Labs forum over at DIY Audio.
