Need klipsch speaker rb5II speaker grill

    Hi,
I recently scored on a set of beautiful cherry Klipsch RB5II. The previous owner neglected to disclose that he had damaged the frame for one of the speakers and had, (probably several times), had super glued it back together, so when I was carrying it into my "man cave", my arm bumped it slightly and it fell apart
Anyway, I need a new grill for it so I can sell them after I enjoy for awhile. Any help would be appreciated. Willing to purchase, whatever, of course.
Those RB5II's are probably the best speakers that size I have ever heard!
Also scored some Advent Heritage towers in unbelievable shape, and I must say are one of my best sounding sets! They sound as good or better than my infinity crescendo 3008's!
Anyone know what those fetch on the market?(If I decide to part with them)
Hit me back if you can help.
    Thanks,
    Father Time

    RB5 grilles

My understanding from hanging occasionally at the Klipsch forum is that replacement grilles are no longer available; at least not new. You could post there (forums.klipsch.com) and see if maybe somebody's got some. Or you could try to find a pair of cheap, trashed speakers with usable grilles, I suppose.

Or, on the other hand, they look kind of cool without grilles -- the golden woofer. Just saying. I don't find an appreciable difference in sound with or without the grilles.

I scored my a pair of 5's in mahogany a few months ago and absolutely love them. They're a bit cosmetically challenged, but the worst scratches on the wood finish of one speaker are hidden by room placement. One of my grilles is OK, the other is missing lower pegs, but it stays on and doesn't rattle. I love the sheen.

Klipsch-o-files tend to regard our speakers as among the best budget units Klipsch ever produced.

    Hello FT,
Great score! The RB5II's were my first audiophile speakers. I bought them 2 years ago and I still love them in my family room. There are driven by a low end Denon AVR and they sound amazing. I listened to recent Klipsch stuff and can't figure out why they don't sound as good as these 10 year old speakers.

About grills???? Don't know..... But, maybe just enjoy the look of them copper woofers......

    Best Regards,
    Stan
