JBL 6208 studio monitors. Keep or sell?

I have a pair of amplified JBL monitors that are currently connected to my PC (!!!) via RCA to 1/4" phono plug adapter. These are designed for recording studio/soundboard monitoring, not listening to MP3's, so I'm wondering what to do with them. They do not have any built-in volume control.

If you have any knowledge of them please reply, otherwise they will most likely be ebay/classified bound.
